Right around the corner-June 12th!

My first spring show of the year is right around the corner. I am very excited!!!!! I have a whole crew of art dolls I wanna share with the world that just seemed to take on their own 80's flare. I also was in the mood to make some adorable daddy-son painting that would melt even the most hardest daddy's heart.

I am happy to announce Nikdapooh Design's participation in the 2010 Ballston Arts & Crafts Market! Held every Second Saturday from May through October, this is Arlington’s premier 100% handmade Market. Conveniently located in Welburn Square  (between North Stuart and North 9th Streets) across from the Ballston Metro.

This year’s Market features many talented artists, live music, free demos and much more.

We are proud to be participating in the June 12th, August 14th, October 9th markets.

Let it spring, let it spring, let it spring

I am getting ready for spring, not to mention many birthdays! I am completely inspired and boiling over with energy. Let's hope it last, I have no space for procrastination. I have many schools of fish to create and mixed media paintings to explore.

Well making my own deadline for my own show was ambitous and WHAT HAPPENS, I miss my own deadline. I can blame my self to a degree, the
rest is on my husband for making our expensive computer as slow as a PC
by adding more and more programs. I did get my jewelry posted, but only after no one was looking anymore.

Just two days left till Sweetmama Jewelry is available for everyone to enjoy.
I'm really excited about it and can't wait to see which daring people will rock this jewelry with pride. I want to have a little something for everyone and I'm trying to not go over broad with some of the designs but that what makes them fun.

Sweetmama Jewelry Collection color ideas

Lately of been thinking about the launch of my new jewelry collection
"Sweetmama Jewelry" jewelry for women on the go on January 14th 2010. I know I'm going to have many shades of blue, turquoise, green, clear, gold, brown and coral colors, but I open for any other color ideas. Feel free to comment any ideas.

What happened to the last minute haul show?

Well......first of all there was terrible weather, then a football

game that took all the parking and that left the 20 plus artists

of The Last Minute Maul Holiday Show simple buying from each

other. Not quite the show I wanted to end my year with but I did

sell my Amphipod painting to a great family and a ton of little monsters

to interesting kids. Overall I still had a great time and meet some new friends.
